Can’t say enough about this charming old school Italian bistro perfect for family dining. I picked this place because the review I read said “it’s more like a neighborhood food hall. Long tables & the waiters verbally provide the menu.” This is my style. I wasn’t disappointed. Easy to get a table for one and I was pampered and showered with love & attention from the busboy, waiter, bartender and owner. The food was quick and AMAZING! Authentic and fresh. The bread was delicious and with the evoo , chef’s kisses. House wine was great & I got out of there for a mere $45. Cash only.

This is a classic Italian eatery in the real sense of the words. The portions are generous and the prices reasonable and the good is very good. I first came here as a teenager decades ago and it had changed as it should, but it still had a family charm.

This place is an institution of higher dinning. No menus, just talk to the man, tell what you like, and ba- da-bing, there it is. My favorite is the veal roast with hot peppers. Just so you know, the men's room, that 2 stories up.
